If you are looking at an area that presents problems when it comes to reach and so on then you will need to go with the smaller trowel. It is suggested that you use only the stainless steel trowels. Many people believe that the plastic is better because it costs less but usually you will find that they break a lot easier and will not last for more than a couple of days of hard labor, unlike the stainless steel trowels.

Rendering is another fairly common term. Rendering refers to outdoor plastering using a special compound to change the appearance of the house. With this type of plastering one can even change the shape of the house if they have enough skill in this area. Rendering has become very popular thanks to the new spray on varieties and the colors that are now available doing away with the need for the expensive pigments.

Texture is the term that is used for the decoration of a room with plaster. There are several different forms of texture and also several different ways in which it can be applied. One of the more common ways of applying texture in the past was using a special sponge that was dipped into the plaster and then dabbed onto the board. These days most of the plasterers will use a texturing or popcorn gun to make the desired decoration.
